Los Cabos with Kids – My Advice

• The best restaurant in Cabo San Lucas is Edith’s. It is located just a block back from Medano Beach. It is expensive and you must make a reservation well in advance, but the mesquite-grilled steaks and local seafood are excellent. The outdoor garden setting is very colorful and authentic.
• The best restaurant in San Jose del Cabo is La Lupita. It has great gourmet tacos and a fun, trendy atmosphere with live music most nights. It is located right in the center of the Art District. There is now a second location in Cabo San Lucas near the marina which is also very good.
• The Los Tamarindos Cooking Course is a fun and hands-on experience on an organic farm just outside of San Jose del Cabo. It is very kid-friendly if your children enjoy being outdoors and seeing where food comes from. You get to walk the farm and pick your own ingredients before the cooking lesson.
• The best zip line is at Wild Canyon adventure park. The lines are very high and long. The park also has a great suspension bridge and an animal sanctuary that is a hit with younger children.
• The Cabo Half-Day Luxury Sailing Adventure with Snorkeling is my favorite way to see the coastline. The tour takes you past the Arch and Land’s End. The staff is helpful with kids and the lunch and open bar are high quality. It is easy to find at the Cabo San Lucas marina.
